What

The Community Cook-Off, established in 2018, is an extraordinary initiative that endeavours to bring together community services and residents from all walks of life, irrespective of age, ethnicity, or background. It serves as a unifying platform through its annual competition of programs, fostering a sense of togetherness and celebrating the diverse culinary talents within the community. The event has a maximum of 12 teams, with six people in each team. All the competing chefs are given a BBQ and equipment and told what they need to cook on the day. They have a larder of provisions to choose from to deliver their dishes. It quickly becomes very competitive as the teams battle to be named Champion.
