What
Join us every Saturday at the National Army Museum’s Society&Change National Saturday Club, where young people (aged 13 - 16 years old) can contribute to the debate – What will the future of conflict look like?
What is the Future of Conflict? Join us at the National Army Museum to contemplate the future of combat. Consider the questions; who and why will we fight? What will our armies look like? Will we need them? Where will this conflict be fought? At the Society&Change National Saturday Club, you will have multiple opportunities to contribute to the conversation. Over the course of the club, members will be able to work with an artist to design their own piece of graphic art, taking inspiration from the Museum's archive and collections. We will ask club members to think about how art can influence how we perceive conflict. Once the inspiration starts flowing, club members will build up a debate and dialogue, taking a deep dive into these questions. They will be able to work with a podcast producer and museum staff to create their own podcast episodes and record their responses. Club members also take part in National Saturday Club events including Masterclasses with leading industry professionals and the Summer Show, where Saturday Clubs nationwide exhibit their work in a public exhibition – all for free! Join us every Saturday morning at 10.00am to 13.00pm to get involved! |
