We're Hiring: Video Officer!
We’re looking for a talented young Video Officer to join our Marketing and Communications team on a 9 month part-time contract. Over the next 9 months, we will be working with the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea to create a series of short videos exploring mental health services and key issues in Kensington & Chelsea.
You will be developing creative, conversation-starting short videos to promote mental health services in Kensington & Chelsea and create change.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly and energetic team where you will be working closely with local voluntary organisations providing support for children and young people in Kensington and Chelsea.
What will you be doing?
- Working in consultation with local young people and RBKC to create engaging and informative videos about mental health
- Lead on developing video concepts, proposals and scripts in collaboration with Marketing and Communications Manager
- Interviewing and filming service providers
- Post-production editing of short videos to be distributed across multiple digital channels (Websites, TikTok, Youtube, Instagram)
Who are we looking for?
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisation and planning skills
- Creative flair and excellent storytelling
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience of producing high-quality video content
- Strong working knowledge of all stages of video production
- Familiarity with professional photography and videography equipment
