Networking and Training Sessions in June

Our goal is to ensure that all our members have access to resources and knowledge which will provide them with the best tools possible to support children and young people in Kensington and Chelsea.

We are running one networking session to support organisations with children at risk of exclusion and NEET young people, with The ClementJames Centre and one training session to support your bid writing for projects working with children and young people in Kensington and Chelsea.

Meeting K&C: ClementJames Centre

Tuesday 7 June, 12pm - 1pm

In the first of our local online networking sessions, The ClementJames Centre will be taking you through the support they provide to young people at risk of exclusion and Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET).

Meeting K&C showcases the work done by Young K&C members and encourages us all to work closer together to provide young people with the best support possible. The sessions encourage collaborative working and aims to develop partnerships between organisations.

The online session will be led by Ella Graham, Community Development Worker & Children and Young People's Advocate, and Thomas Baillie, Senior Community Development Worker & Children and Young People's Project Coordinator.

Within the session we will be covering:

  • The new School Exclusions Programme

  • Academic support available

  • Support programmes for NEET young people.
