Lead Youth Worker

The main responsibility of the Lead Youth Worker is to assist the Senior Youth Worker and Deputy Senior Youth Worker in developing and providing a wide range of activities and informal educational opportunities to children and young people attending the provision at the Avenues Youth Project.

This position is for the Lead Youth Worker of our Secondary Zone programme, which is our after-school club for our Inters between the ages of 11-13 years. Secondary Zone runs 39 weeks in the year during term-time only.

Whilst this position is a permanent contract, there is scope to do additional hours at The Avenues for other projects such as Girls Hub, Friday Seniors, Sporty Saturdays, Saturday Seniors and holiday programmes.
