About Organisation

WAND is a London wide women’s charity committed to working with all women and girls especially marginalised and vulnerable, Black Asian Minority Ethnic (BAME) women and girls in Kensington & Chelsea, Westminster, Hammersmith & Fulham, Islington, Camden and Hackney with special interest in asylum seekers, lone parents, unemployed, low level educated, low income families, women with mental health , Domestic Violence victims, and women infected and affected by HIV. We empower our women and girls to become agents for their own change to improve their quality of life by providing one 2 one multilingual, multicultural, emotional and practical and Group peer support, information general advice, advocacy, training, skills and confidence building, physical activities to reduce anxiety and depression, food support, volunteering, gardening, cultural and educational trips, picnics, walks, social gathering, beauty and selfcare and telephone befriending
