Fashion Retail Academy

The Fashion Retail Academy (Ofsted Outstanding) is a unique, industry led college. Founded by retail giants, we offer a range of exclusive Fashion courses with unparalleled industry involvement to ensure you gain the skills and contacts needed to successfully progress to employment. We also offer a Saturday Club - A free programme for young people aged 13 - 16 years old. - It is a 30-week journey for young people to experience the fashion industry and different roles within it. - The club is aimed at providing young people with the opportunity to learn new disciplines and skills, whilst gaining important insights into the Industry and further study opportunities. - Our aim is to help students to grow in confidence, learn to take calculated risks and experiment freely under the supervision of our experienced tutors, free from grades or assessment to support creative freedom. - The creative lab team will take you on a 30-week journey through the world of fashion from concept to shop floor, including initial research and design to fabric selection, pattern cutting and construction. Students will then focus on the commercial aspects of the industry to learn how to create a marketing plan to launch their product through PR, practical Visual Merchandising and editorial styling techniques. We work with many of the biggest names in Fashion retail to provide you with a wealth of practical industry experience to complement your academic learning. Choose from one or two year fully funded diploma courses or one of our exclusive two year degrees – the only accelerated fashion degrees in the country.
