Text transcript:
Who are London Sports Trust?
Hello, my name’s Kevin Nathaniel. I’m the Head of Youth at London Sports Trust. London Sports Trust is a charity that specialises in providing opportunities for disadvantaged young people and families, to play sport and get active in their communities.
What do London Sports trust do for young people?
One of the ways in which we operate is by working in partnership with community organisations and local authority to identify a need, before sending in coaches, youth workers, mentors, etc. to provide high quality sessions for the children and families of those communities. But that’s not all we do. We also try to deliver other positive outcomes, by offering workshops, volunteering opportunities, training and even employment where we can.
Where can young people go to find out more about you and what you do?
We’re based at North Kensington Canalside and Ladbroke Grove, but we parachute coaches into communities all across the borough of RBKC, plus Westminster and other neighbouring boroughs, like Hammersmith and Fulham. For more information go to our website at www.londonsportstrust.org and please be sure to check out our social media. Thank you.
