What is the maximum amount that I can apply for?
- The maximum amount you can apply for is £3000. (£40,000 of total grant pot is ring fenced for organisations with a turnover of less than £40,000)
When is the deadline for grant applications?
- The deadline is 11:59pm on Monday 9th December and you should apply via Plinth
What are the eligibility criteria for applying for this grant?
- To be eligible for this grant your organisation must be:
- A supplementary school based in Kensington and Chelsea
- A member of Young K&C
- Currently working with children and young people, aged up to 25 who live or study in Kensington and Chelsea
Preference will be given to:
- Registered charities, CICs and organisations that have attained their Quality Mark
- Organisations with turnover under than £40,000 in the last financial year
What if I am unregistered and I meet the eligibility criteria, can I still apply?
- If your organisation is unregistered, you can still apply, but we will require your organisation to register as part of our grant conditions. You will also need to indicate in your applications how you will set aside some of your grant funding from us towards the cost of registration support.
What can I include in the budget?
- The grant covers core costs so you can apply for staff costs, resources, development, and overheads.
What documents do I need to upload?
- You will need to upload the following documents, budget form, EDI form, Safeguarding policy, bank statement dated in the last 3 months, and insurance certificate for public and employers' liability insurance
When will I find out if my grant application is successful?
- We will have a grant panel in December to assess the grants, and all applicants will be informed of decision in early January
